Previously, Kevin served as Associate General Counsel of Royal Gold, Inc. from 2009 to 2011 and as Senior Corporate Counsel for Newmont Mining Corporation from 2005 to 2009. Kevin began his legal career in 2002 as an Associate in the Corporate and Securities Department of Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, P.C.  

Kevin is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado.  

Kevin holds a B.A. from Holy Cross and a J.D. from the University of Denver.

Previously, Sam was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs where she focused on commercial real estate financing.

Sam holds a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Previously, Stacy was an Audit Senior at Deloitte and Touche LLP.

Stacy is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Accountancy and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Denver.

Hal joined KSL in 2009 after completing his JD/MBA at Duke's Fuqua School of Business and Duke Law School (magna cum laude). While at Duke, Hal completed two summer internships with KSL.

Hal currently serves as Head of European Capital Solutions and is a member of KSL's Investment Committees.

Hal holds a B.S. in Business Administration & Accounting from Washington & lee University (magna cum laude, L.K. Johnson Scholar) and is a CFA Charterholder.

Previously, Eileen was with Boston Consulting Group.

Eileen holds a B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Real Estate, Operations and Marketing.

Previously, Lorenzo spent four years in the Private Equity  Performance Improvement of Alvarez & Marsal in London. Prior to A&M,  Lorenzo worked in the Financial Advisory division of Deloitte in Milan and in  the Risk Management department of Banca Mediolanum.

Lorenzo holds a Master’s  in Management degree from London Business School and a B.B.A. in Finance from Hult International Business School.

Steve is a co-founder of KSL and currently serves as its Chief Operating Officer. Steve serves on the firm's Management Committee and Investment Committees.

Prior to KSL, Steve acted as KSL's predecessor's outside counsel since 2002. Beginning in 1995, he was a partner of Brownstein Hyatt & Farber, P.C., where he served as Chair of the Corporate and Securities Department and as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.  From 1990 through 1995, Steve was with the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, becoming a partner in 1993. He began his legal career as an associate with Cravath Swaine & Moore in 1987. Steve is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Colorado.

Steve holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Steve is a member of the board of directors of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

Previously, Jeff served in several senior finance roles, including Chief Financial Officer of Elegant Hotels Group Plc, Corporate Finance Director for Rocco Forte Hotels Group, Finance Director & Group Financial Controller for the De Vere Group and Audit Director for Deloitte.  

Jeff holds a B.A. in Business Accounting and a minor in Marketing from Charles Sturt University, attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia, and is a Fellow for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Previously, Peter was an Associate at MG Stover, Inc. working on their private equity and venture capital team.

Peter holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder Leeds School of Business.

Previously, Marla was with Vail Resorts, Inc., where she served in various roles, including as Director of Strategic Planning. From 1990 until 1996, Marla was in the audit division of Price Waterhouse LLP.

Marla holds Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Previously, she was an Administrative Services Manager at McKinsey & Co. Prior to McKinsey, she was Development Manager at The New York Stem Cell Foundation. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Financial Management from the University of Colorado.
